Goodbye!

This will be my last post for this year, 2011. In awhile, we are welcoming a brand new year. How time flies!

Hello 2012! Ive been looking forward to see you. I know that you are going to be hard and tough for me and fiance to go through but I'm sure at the end of it, I will be opening a new chapter in life. I'm going to say goodbye to my singlehood and my parents responsibility will be pass over to another man.

A brand new year, a new start and its time for me to stay focus onto my dreams. Dear Allah, please give us the strength and the will to go through the next 10 months. Amin

Life in silence..

Tonight, Ive met a nice, young, good looking couple in their early 20s. They have everything a teenage couple could ask for. The looks, the body and the money but there is one thing I wish God would had given them, their sense of hearing. It opens my eyes and made me realised how grateful we are to have a complete nature but still, some of us do not appreciate what God had created for us until it was taken away in a split second.

Its nearly the end.....

We have reached to the second half of this month which means we are crawling towards a brand new year.. OMG! I'm getting phobea everytime i see the year '2012' on TV or on the calendar, posters and etc etc. I know I've been thru this before like i was engaged once with a different person but last time, I dont feel the tense and excitement at the same time compared to this moment even though i've been towards the last 6 mths to the wedding coz I knew in the first place, its not my time yet.

This year, 2011, had been filled with totally ups and totally downs. Facing the most difficult times that I've never felt in my entire life before! Alot of mental challenges especially at my werk place. Thoughout the year, its been so hard and depressing except for these special moments which I'm listing in down below.

1. In July 2011, I was engaged with the man I adore, my one true love
2. My and fiance get to combine 2 future families together on the mums' birthday celebration
3. On valentines Day 2011, we've won the top 3 in Singapore Love Story in Stomp and our article was revealed in the newpaper! We won 500 bucks!
4. Having fun in Bali doing the best of the best watersports we've never done before such as rafting and scuba diving. Hell yeah! Scuba ok not snorkelling!

Hmm basically thats all I can think of, the best moments in 2011. I really hope I will start a brand new new with a brand new resolution and end it with a perfect wedding and having a perfect husband. I just applied for a job and i'm desperate to get out of here! I hope I will get a response from them! Insyallah...

11 MONTHS! 11! 11! 11!

todays date is 1st Dember 2011.. 11 more months to the month of 11th. Some changes made to the venue which we plan to have the ceremony.. it will still be at the community club, its just a different spot.. We surveyed the place again and listed down some of these...

Basketball court:
PROS
-Cheaper
-bigger
-decorations will look more grand with the platform and all
-outdoor and no aircon needed
-more space for 2 reception table

CONS
-if the rain gets really heavy, it might wet some parts of the place
-the cooking area will not be next to the buffet area
distractions from the macdonald's patrons

Multi purpose hall
PROS
-more private
-near to cooking area

CONS
-smaller
-few hundreds more expensive
-usage of air con is compulsary
-stage too high, therefore, guests will have to sort of look up in order to see us sitting on the dias
